All thanks and respect to Mr. Heath Hysell of South Dakota. Nice working with you Heath, and I have to say this is the best barter so far I've ever been lucky enough to find. Mr. Hysell did my Business logo in leather, and my SCA heraldry for my Motorcycle and I say we are even Steven. Thanks again Heath.

,..."I love the sword. The balance is amazing and the weight makes lt feel like and extension of my arm. My wife even loves it. No, no, there is no problem here. Really it is a piece of art. I don't see any imperfections. All I see is a truly awesome blade. Even the fit of handle is perfect. It just feels right. I am very impressed. I love it. Really, you deserve a great big pat on the back. Probably even a hug. I can't say enough about. But I better or I will sound like a bumbling idiot.

Best Regards,
~Heath
P.S. You did one heck of a packing job.

I'm so proud to have done a blade for Mr. Hysell. (I will have him post professional pic's of him with his new blade shortly. You can see some pic's of said blade on my page in mid production. I was in such a rush to get it to him, on time, I didn't get any pic's of it finished. Hopefully he can help me out in this regards?

If swords and armor are your thing, and you've ever wanted to take a "stab" at pattern welding, (Damascus Steel) check it out. This had been Titled "Nice Tutorial", but that didn't point anyone to the hands on idea of damascus, for anyone searching. So here is a re'mix.

Starting at seven years old, I started doing comics of my own invention, and favorite Heroic Fantasy character, "Lok the Hammer". For many years I have been trying to break into the Writing scene, with limited success.
Early on, when young and stupid, one of my books got ripped off. Since then I've heard direct quotes, and ideas pop up in TV, Movies, and even other comic's that I had had great love for. Lesson? No copywrite, no rights. So I learned my lessons, and even though many of my concepts were/are booed by the lack of PC mentality of modern Academia, ...I pushed on.
So, finally the first two; The Maqq'Kracken Kings, and "Lok the Hammer" will be available via Author House, in May of '09. I'm finishing up the art work, (10 black and whites per book plus covers.) Later on, once I make some coin off them I want the next printing covers done by one of my fav' DA artists.
I also will post excerpts and make the books available on my personal web site later on. The problem for now, is due to revamping my Blacksmithing, Swordsmithing business; Hammer Forge and File, Inc. last August, I had to temporarily take the site down, redo everything in my inventory, ..(yes the "economay kicked my ass so hard, I had to say 'ah" to shine my shoes) so we will be rebuilding the site from the ground up starting also in May.
I will be having help from my good friend George Keller with my inks, (as I'm a Windsor-Smith clone) and some inspiration and input from My wife, Dr. Mellisa R. Shyan-Norwalt, and Mr. Robert Coleman, fellow Ex-Military, Mason, Scholar on many fronts, and Living History enthusiast extraordinary.
